Take THAT Ya Cheese Eatin’ Surrender Monkey!
Now that I’m grinding reputation for the Sons of Hodir, I am not a happy person. It’s tedious, unless I want to pony up and buy Relics, by which I could vastly speed the process up. I like my gold, so that’s not going to work.
However, the journey to this point was amazing. With Siori, I went from Dragonblight into instances and Icecrown for my last couple levels. So, I didn’t even touch Storm Peaks until well after I hit 80. Given the importance of the Hodir Shoulder Enchantments, I know how daft that sounds. But, enter I did and in no time at all I was running around for Thorim.
If you want the full details of Thorim and Loken, head here. For the short version, there’s a reason their names are based on Thor and Loki. Sadly, it took me some time to pick up on that. But, the storyline that takes you through Brunnhildar Village and Thunderfall and back again, was amazing. The Drakkensryd is now easily my favourite quest in the game (and I wish I had been smart enough to take a screenshot). You can just hear the Indiana Jones theme playing while you leap from one to the other. Very action packed and I found myself disappointed the quest is not a daily.
If you plan to raid, getting Exhalted with Sons of Hodir is a must. But, if casual gaming is your thing, you owe it to yourself to do this chain right up to going into Halls Of Lightning and knocking Loken’s teeth in. So make sure you snag this quest when you hit Storm Peaks. I promise, you won’t be disappointed.

This blog’s great!! Thanks
