I apologize for not having the Closing Ceremonies up just yet. However, the Mrs. will testify just how long I’ve been at it (and not done much else for more than half the long weekend) and that I still have work to do. As it is, I’ll probably still publish it incomplete -but I would rather do that than keep everyone waiting.
I had a certain way I wanted to do things with it, and in doing it myself I didn’t necessarily bite off more than I could chew. I just didn’t count on the work involved to attain my heights. As I said, your continued patience is appreciated.

Indeed, the Mister has done naught but finish renovating our bathroom *squee!* and swear at the computer the last couple of days.
It shall be well worth it! As will the multiple bottles of beer he will consume at the end of it all!
Don’t stress about it too much! Post it when it’s done and not a moment sooner. I’m sure we can all wait a bit longer.
