How I Met Some New Pets

A post I wanted to throw up all week gets the chance now, after I barely got under the wire for Day Nine last night for the Mrs.  Stupid Sunflower quest DC’d me as I was about to win, so I had to wait until after the ICC Laid Back Raid to do the final one.  But now she has her Sunflower.  I think part of it is her laptop touchpad is finicky for that game.

So after that was said and done, I hopped on Tumunzahar.  Seems a little Arvash-bird e-mailed me suggesting something of the sort might be wise.  Cheeky bugger!  I was in Tanaris at the time, great place for a Sand Scarab to pop up!

But, the funny thing is…I noticed another item in my mailbox.  It was from Delgadita!  Holy Bronzebeard, an Enchanted Lantern!  She said it would light my way, so I took it to a nearby cave.  Alas, it did not find anything Infinite, but it brought be much warmth all the same.

They join a couple of critters I wound up with earlier in the week.  Turns out the best time to farm Lofty Librams are at 4 in the morning, when your throat is so sore, swallowing makes you cry.  I found two, but before I could get the Mrs. on and taming…well, some snarky Blood Elf swooped in.

I also had taken Saintvache to Winterspring as I haven’t actually nabbed that clockwork-esque bear  (I actually found a common one last night).  While there, I read up on farming the Azure Whelpling.  Yeah, don’t ask me why I thought I would have that kind of luck either.  Short story long, I took the Saint into one of the caves and killed a trio of Oozes.  They respawn pretty fast, though, and I ended up killing them three times in under 10 minutes.  More importantly, they dropped the bag.  Nah?  There’s no friggin’ way I have THAT kind of luck…

Holy crap.  Guess I can refrain from visiting Minfernal Village for a few months until my luck returns…
