No matter how many times I see it, Wrathgate never gets old. It’s more exciting when you launch it with one of your own toons instead of just watching the video on YouTube.
Tumunzahar finished the quest chain on the weekend, amidst a myriad of successful quests and instance runs that have resulted in a level 78 Priest that continues to nip and claw his way to 80.
What makes Wrathgate so special is the epic feel to it. Blizzard doesn’t do that near enough, and it is unfortunate because it truly is something special. I know a number of people who hit Northrend and as soon as they can start the quest chain to trigger the big moment, they’re in Westgarde Keep “gettin’ it done” as they say.
At the same time, I have two guild members who did everything for the chain and then skipped the cinematic. Why? “We just figured it wasn’t all that important.” In their defense, one asked me “who, or what, is Azeroth” while questing at level 80.
