Kuroma brought the raid exploitation issue to my attention yesterday and I originally planned to write about it, but The Godmother covered everything I would have said over at ALT: ernative. I do think Blizzard should have made an example out of the top raid guilds that took advantage of the bug, but from an economic standpoint I can understand the approach they took (even if I don’t agree with it).
Sitting with my cup of coffee this morning I realized we’re at December 7th and into the holiday season. Around this household it’s the stretch towards Christmas and we’ve finally got some snow, but we’re also approaching the end of 2011.
There’s only a few weeks left for anything you want to accomplish in-game before the year is up. For me, I’m going to finish my project and also try to level some characters. Liouxpold and Fireflint have sat at 75 and 72 respectively because I didn’t want to grind out Northrend when I knew the nerf was coming. Also, Horrux and Carrera are both 55 and as a tank and healer I’m pretty sure I can get them to 60 before the year is up.
…as you can see, Murky is rather excited to be in his new home. He arrived via a late flight Monday evening, wondering what all the fuss was about. As you can see, I showed him the subject of his arrival at our house and he approved as well. It was rather flattering. Once again thanks to Amerence for a wonderful prize.
