I always liked that song. Then again, Aqua’s one of those guilty pleasures of mine. Hey, you go back to working on your farm before you judge me.
One of the best things about this time of year is the costumes. Some people get incredibly creative both elaborately and simplistically. I could sit back and watch the parade of creatures and characters all day. To coincide with Hallowe’en, a couple of fellow bloggers are running their own costume contests.
Draynee is calling on contestants to grab their favourite Draenei and enter one of three categories. You can submit yourself under an NPC of Azeroth (Brann Bronzebeard? Apothecary Putriss?), a fictional character (Red Riding Hood, Hercules, etc), or something miscellaneous (I can’t wait to see the creativity of this). You must create a legit Transmog outfit (so no leather warrior wielding a wand), but you can use things like MogIt for your entry.
Also, Kirina is running her 4th(!) annual costume contest. Her rules are pretty simple, as you are welcome to enter as often as you like but they must be in-game and in costume. So no personal costumes or WoW ModelViewer type of entries.
In both cases, there are prizes for the winners and you can check them out on their respective sites. You also have until the 31st of October, which is one week from today. I’m personally hoping to enter both, but we’ll have to see what time, luck, and creativity allow for.
And speaking of contests, whispers tell me to keep an “eye” on The Crimson Hammer…
